Entry into M.Tech course of Jain Deemed University, Faculty of Engineering and Technology is given through entrance examinations such as GATE or JET. Individuals need to hold a BE/BTech degree with an aggregate percentage of at least 50% (45% for SC/ST) with the same/similar specialisation of the M.Tech course. Jain University provides 13 M.Tech specializations for which individual particular eligibility is laid down. Eligible candidates need to apply online and pass the mandatory entrance exam to get admissions.

Aspirants are required to scan copies of required documents while making applications. Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates are to be provided for UG courses. In case of PG admission, candidates must provide the Bachelor's degree mark sheet and certificate along with related Diploma documents if required.
