Merit based scholarships given to high achieving students (marks or university examinations)

Need based assistance for economically weaker section students.

Special category or talent based scholarships (e.g., women, sports, arts).

Funding also available under state and central government schemes.

You need to apply directly through the college or through the university scholarship office—check current eligibility and deadlines with them.
