No, you cannot directly pursue M.Tech after a 3-year B.Sc. in Computer Science through PGCET or other entrance exams. M.Tech generally requires a B.E., B.Tech, or a 4-year B.Sc. (Research). However, you can do an MCA or an M.Sc. in Computer Science and then go for M.Tech through lateral entry in some universities.

You can attempt IEMJEE multiple times in a year since the exam is conducted in different phases. The best score among your attempts is considered for admission. However, it's always good to check the official website for any updates on attempt limits.

Yes, Kanpur Institute of Technology also provides B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Lateral Entry) for Diploma students. Candidates need to possess a relevant Diploma in engineering with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates). Admission will be given based on JEECUP rank and according to the UPTAC counseling process. The course permits students to join the course directly in the second year and gives industry-oriented training.

Yes, you may join Kanpur Institute of Technology without JEE Main, but with direct admission against vacant seats only, which account for 15% of total seats under management/NRI quota. Yes, CMR Technical Campus (Autonomous Engineering College) offers 30% seat via management quota. Direct admission is offered to students who belongs to management catergory. To be eligible for admisison through quota, candidates are required to full fill the criteria set by the college. The criteria for admission is pass Class 12 with 50% aggreagte in group subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) for BTech courses and pass UG degree for M.Tech and MBA.
