No, you cannot directly pursue M.Tech after a 3-year B.Sc. in Computer Science through PGCET or other entrance exams. M.Tech generally requires a B.E., B.Tech, or a 4-year B.Sc. (Research). However, you can do an MCA or an M.Sc. in Computer Science and then go for M.Tech through lateral entry in some universities.

You can attempt IEMJEE multiple times in a year since the exam is conducted in different phases. The best score among your attempts is considered for admission. However, it's always good to check the official website for any updates on attempt limits.

Yes, Kanpur Institute of Technology also provides B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Lateral Entry) for Diploma students. Candidates need to possess a relevant Diploma in engineering with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates). Admission will be given based on JEECUP rank and according to the UPTAC counseling process. The course permits students to join the course directly in the second year and gives industry-oriented training.

Yes, you may join Kanpur Institute of Technology without JEE Main, but with direct admission against vacant seats only, which account for 15% of total seats under management/NRI quota. Otherwise, admission is by entrance examinations like JEE Main, JEECUP, or CUET (NTA), as the case may be, based on the course. For B.Tech courses like IT, JEE Main is necessary, and for Diploma courses like Civil Engineering, JEECUP is necessary.
