Yes, you can get admission to the B.E. / B.Tech courses at Camellia Institute of Technology (CIT) without WBJEE if you have a valid JEE Main score. While WBJEE is the preferred entrance exam for candidates from West Bengal, students from other states can apply using their JEE Main scores. However, you must still meet the eligibility criteria, which include having completed your 12th grade with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and meeting the required percentage. Admission will be based on the merit list formed from your entrance exam score and academic performance.

Any B.Tech from any reputed institution can apply by meeting the eligibility criteria, whether it is having some required percentage in undergraduate degree or something else. For M.Tech admission, IITs verify the GATE score-counseling process afterwards. Hence, there is no restriction on your B.Tech completion eithe

Since this GME course needs to be done at a specific institution, the eligibility will also be contingent on the programme requirements of that institution.

Generally, GME is meant for students who have graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related branch. Since you are pursuing a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, generally, you would be eligible for GME courses, which are meant for candidates who would like to specialize in mechanical engineering at a graduate level.

But since you are coming from a background in computer engineering, it would be important to find out if the GME programme at that instit

Hostel fees vary from INR 50,000 to INR 1 Lacs for a year, depending on the type of accommodation one opts for.

They would charge more for postgraduate programs (M.Tech)
