Choosing IBM courses in the Engineering Department at Chandigarh University is a smart move because it bridges the gap between academics and industry. IBM experts help design the curriculum, so students learn practical skills in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and AI applications instead of only theory. The university also organizes certification programs and IBM-led workshops, which are highly respected by recruiters.
I've seen seniors get internships at top IT companies and participate in real-time IBM projects while still studying. This kind of exposure gives you confidence and credibility in the job market, and you graduate not only

For BE CSE with Artificial Intelligence at Chandigarh University, the placement record has shown very positive results. Every year, well-known recruiters from India and abroad hire students in large numbers.
Students have got chances with firms like Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, HP, Capgemini, and many others. Some companies have offered packages above 30 LPA, while many service companies also hired in bulk. This mix gives opportunities for students who want high-end roles and also for those looking for steady IT jobs. The AI specialisation is in trend, so more recruiters are now preferring this branch. Honestly, I wouldn't keep Chandigarh University as just a "last option" If you get CSE at this university, it's actually a good opportunity. The faculty are supportive, labs are modern, and placement are decent- many students get into reputed companies through campus drives. Taking a drop sounds appealing if you're aiming for IITs or NITs but it comes with pressure and uncertainty.
The engineering dept gives you a platform to start immediately, explore coding, projects, and even prepare for higher studies or competitive exams side by side. I know seniors who joined CU thinking it was a backup, but later they realized it opened many door

I recently joined CSE at Chandigarh University, and I'm really impressed with both the faculty and placements. The professors are helpful, always ready to clarify doubts, and often share real-world examples from their experience. The university organizes regular workshops, hackathons, and coding sessions, which make learning fun and practical. When it comes to placements, CU has a good track record—many companies come to campus for recruitment, and seniors have been placed in reputed firms. There's also guidance for resumes, interviews, and soft skills. Personally, I feel confident that the faculty's support and the university's stro

Chandigarh University emphasizes hands-on learning to make its CSE students placement-ready. A major part of this effort is through hackathons, coding competitions, and live projects where students sharpen their problem-solving and innovation skills. These activities not only build confidence but also simulate real-world problem scenarios that employers value. In addition, CU has established industry-collaborated labs with companies like IBM, Microsoft, and Virtusa, allowing students to gain direct exposure to cutting-edge technologies. This ecosystem encourages teamwork, time management, and creativity—qualities that go beyond textb

When I first opted for CSE with Artificial Intelligence at Chandigarh University, I was nervous because AI sounded too technical and complicated. But once the classes started, I realized the course is built in a way that gradually takes you from the basics to advanced concepts. We began with simple logic and reasoning models, then moved into machine learning and deep learning. The best part is how the university connects what we study to real-world projects. For example, in one workshop, we built a small model for predicting trends using data sets, which was both fun and practical.
Another highlight is the exposure to new areas li
