A straight answer: if your goal is less academic load + decent career options, then among CSE, ECE, EE, the usual reality is:

  • CSE (Computer Science)the lightest relative load (more logic + coding, less hardcore physics/math hardware)
  • ECE (Electronics & Communication) → Medium load (mix of coding + electronics, can get tough)
  • EE (Electrical Engineering)the heaviest load (core physics, circuits, math-heavy, more demanding)

Dear reader,

Depending on the quota, the General category students' NIT Surathkal ECE closing ranks usually fall between 3900 and 5600. Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers an equally competitive advantage with its industry-immersion programs and world-class infrastructure, guaranteeing students achieve great professional success, even though getting a seat here is prestigious.

Yes, Lovely Professional University is considered a decent choice for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering because it has good labs, workshops, industry exposure, and placement support.

If you actively work on practical skills, internships, and software tools during the course, you can get good learning and placement opportunities there.

Yes, Texas Tech is a solid choice to pursue a MS in CS programme in USA. The university offers a 31-credit hour program with strong post study employment outcomes at companies like Amazon, Meta, Google, and Microsoft.

The programme also opens the door to a 24 month STEM OPT Extension in the US, down the line. It can be completed for USD 17,649 (INR 16.8 Lakhs) per year, a much lower tuition rate compared to top universities in the US.

I would say you should choose top college rather than top branch.A good college matters much more than a good branch. Most of the times you can avail same facilities as those top branch students. So it's any day better to choose a top college.
