Bachelor of Cosmetic Technology is an undergraduate Cosmetology course. You can get admission through respective college examinations and on a merit-based. Few of them are
1) Pearl Academy of Fashion Entrance Exam.
2)VLCC Institute of Beauty, Health, & Management Entrance Exam.
3)Institute of Cosmetology & Laser Science Entrance Exam. The best colleges are ISAS International Beauty School, Pearl Academy of Fashion, VLCC Institute of Beauty, Health, & Management, and Lake Academy Beauty & Fitness. The duration of the course is 36 months to 48 months I. e 3 years to 4 years. The fees structure depends on respective colleges but you can go Rs 50 thousand to Rs 1 Lacs per year. The minimum salary is 1 Lacs per annum and the highest salary is 10 Lacs per annum.

A batch consists of around 70 students out of which approximately 30 to 40 students got placed. Out of these, about 10 to 15 students got placed in core companies like Tata Advanced Systems which offered the highest salary package of 6 LPA, Capgemini, and Aerospace which offered the salary package of 3.8 LPA, Indigo which offered the salary package of 5 LPA, and Aviotron Automations which offered the salary package of 3.6 LPA. The rest of the students did not get placed or opted for non-core companies. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is amazing, and our engineering block looks modern. For our aerospace department, two floors are allotted with classrooms and labs. There are different types of labs like aerodynamics (wind tunnel and water tunnel) and aircraft structure (wing structure components). Aircraft propulsion lab (which is non-operational, but the JET engine is available) and instrument and system lab (aircraft hangar outside the building with Cessna aircraft) are also available. Our university library has books related to our department, but students should get permission from professors to access most of the reference books. The hostel complex is pretty huge with tuck shops, mess, restaurant, and all things inside it. LAN ports are provided in every hostel room so that students can use the Wi-Fi facility. There are medical dispensary and sports facilities on our university premises.

About 95% of the students got placements from our course. The highest salary package offered was 28 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Most of the students get placed because Chandigarh University not only focuses on education but also on the overall development of students. Infrastructure: It is a huge campus with lots of facilities like Wi-Fi, huge classrooms, huge labs and a library with more than 8 lac books. In the hostel, the quality of food served in the mess is average, but there is a canteen also. There is a medical facility 24x7. A huge gym and many sports grounds and indoor games are available in the hostel.

In my view aerospace in Chandigarh university is best
Placements: 50% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 25lakh per annum and the lowest package is 5lakh per annum and the average package is 10 Lacs per annum. HAL and Mahindra are the top recruiting companies. 20% of students got internships from my course. Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are best in Chandigarh University. Wi-Fi is free for every student and best labs facilities. The classroom is vast and they provide the best library service. The hostel quality is average and the quality of food is good. Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Yes, it always makes the students industry-ready. The semester exam is not too difficult.
