Hello Shreya Bajaj, oh no. It's not mandatory to appear for JEE Mains to get admission in engineering branch of aeronautical engineering. JEE Mains is required to be given if you are seeking admission in either NIT or IIT or CFTI. For getting admission in college in your state having this branch then you need to give entrance exam assigned by your state. Of course in a private engineering college, you can seek admission against management quota without giving any entrance exam. Best wishes to you.

Hello Taniya Shah, I am afraid you seems to be ineligible at least presently to seek admission in engineering colleges. This is so since, mathematics is considered as compulsory irrespective of branch. There is a choice for Chemistry. Student could take Biology instead. To help you I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about different aspects of eligibility for JEE Mains. Similar is eligibility across all states also. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/articles/jee-main-eligibility-blogId-19629
Best wishes to you.

Hello Ishika Gupta, I can understand your angst and anxiety. But why this reluctance to appear for any exam or you have reluctance only for JEE Mains. If your state in which you are domiciled has not accepted JEE as entrance then you can give entrance exam conducted by your state to get admission in engineering college. Except in Tamil Nadu, students across India have to give at least one entrance exam for getting admission in government engineering college. Best wishes to you.

Hello Ritika Gulati, it seems you have made a statement and before you could ask query, by mistake submitted it. I would strongly recommend that you raise fresh query by giving out what you are doing presently. Then stating what you want to do in future and then asking a query as to doubt in your mind about how to do it etc. Yes engineering is of course a very good courses D it gives better chances of employment after completion. But then one should never only look at this. You should approach this with your heart and not brain. If you do this then you will definitely enjoy studying. Best wishes to you.

Hello Anand Kumar Jha, let me confess. Guessing a rank in any entrance exam or in exam is very tough. It's like guessing weather without any inputs. I would sincerely advise you to have patience. Its only TNEA that can give ranking. Best wishes to you.

AICTE has recently made some changes in their elligibility criteria for engineering. Elligibility criteria also vary for state education board and universities. I will suggest you can do it ( with some exception) and bio 12th would definitely be an advantage.
