Hello Shirish Ajgaonkar, normally speaking for admission in any graduation course passing of 12th is a must. Normally students take admission for Diploma after 10th standard and hence do not complete their 12th board. However government of Maharashtra has sanctioned the equivalence Certificate to 3 years Diploma courses after 10th and also for two years ITI course after 10th. You need to approach the Institute from which you have passed Diploma to know the procedure of how to obtain this Certificate of equivalence if you do not have. Hello Harmit Singh Dhanda, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in pursuing you are graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma in engineering. You have also stated that you want to do it in a part time mode. By this I assume that you are working somewhere and hence are not able to devote full time and three years for completion of degree. Hello Marimuthu, frankly speaking every exam has its different eligibility criteria. If you had passed your Diploma in 2013 then you are definitely not eligible to appear for JEE Mains and obviously JEE Advanced but your eligibility to seek admission and lateral mode in your own state will be subjected to the eligibility criteria decided by your state. This you can find out from the webpage of the directorate of technical education of your state. Also if your state conducts entrance exam for giving admissions to engineering colleges then also you can SEE the eligibility conditions on their website. Best wishes to you.

Dear Virendra, LPU is the better choice to pursue your engineering. LPU does provide B.Tech in Mechanical.
