Dear Ashish, With better and broader subjects, Mechanical engineering offers better scope than civil engineering. Civil engineering primarily targets a field whereas Mechanical engineering can be further divided into a variety of fields. My cousin did B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at LPU. I will tell you why mechanical engineering is better at LPU. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure, LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. L

Dear Kriti, MCA -most of the students choose MCA after BCA. MCA means master in computer application and this is a very good course. MBA is a management course I. e. Master in business management it is a good course and job placement in this field is also good. You can go for M.Sc. Which is also a master's degree and a good course. The rest depends on your interest. I have many friends who have done MCA and MBA at LPU after their BCA degree based on their interests. LPU is Punjab's Best Computer Application College. LPU School of Computer Application is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCO

Hi, CSE is not an ordinary field! It's highly dynamic and competitive. The syllabi need to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So it would be best if you compared them on the following parameters. Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university is upgraded with industry inputs. Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus

Hello Priya, I am afraid that you have sent very less information. No mention of name of entrance exam. No mention of which college is your fav etc. Okay. I would strongly recommend that you should download the college predictors available on the net for the entrance exam that you appeared for. These will give you an idea of the branch and the college that you can get. Best wishes to you.

Hello Raman, Cut-off for JEE Advance for last year:
Candidates having at least 90.3765335 percentile will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. For EWS students the cut-off is 70.2435518, for OBC it is 72.8887969, SC - 50.1760245, ST - 39.0696101, PwD - 0.06185224
If similar trend continues this year too, I am afraid you may not even become eligible to apply for admission. You need to score more than 90 percentile. Best wishes to you.

Hello Kim, deemed to be universities have their own method of giving admission to probable students. They invariably conduct their own entrance exam and then give admissions based on the performance in this examination. A student is of course supposed to keep track of this admission process. For private engineering colleges, associated with different universities in different states, they follow the pattern prescribed by their concerned states. However, the management quota seats are filled directly by these colleges. Best wishes to you.
