In Case of Ph.D. Part Time programme, applicants are required to submit NOC (No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of admission. Other than Engineering disciplines, Students who have done their Masters in Distance Mode, are eligible for Ph.D. programme. Eligibility for Ph.D. programme is as follows,

3)M.Phil (Regular) + Interview
Duration of Ph.D. programme will be Minimum 3 Years & Maximum 6 Years (2 Years relaxation is also there for the female students). LPU offers flexible course work in three different options and tentative schedule is mentioned below:
Option I Duration - One semester - August to November 2021 - Saturdays 03:00 P. M. - 05:00 P. M. Sundays 09:00 A. M. - 04:00 P. M. Option II Duration - 4 days* every month (*preferably every second week (Thursday-Sunday) September to December 2021- 09:00 A. M. - 06:00 P. M. (daily)
Option III Duration - 15 days - November to December 2021 - 09:00 A. M. - 06:00 P. M. (daily)
For Full Time Ph.D. students :
After presenting a State-Of-the-Art (SOTA) seminar, there is fair chance to the students to pursue teaching assistantship in LPU only. Though the selection is completely depends upon selection committee & requirement. Scholarship Opportunity:

1)Upto 90% for Full Time and 70% for Part Time on the basis of LPU NEST cut off
2)Scholarship of up to 90% of the Programme fee is offered in Ph.D. programmes on the basis of GATE/ GPAT/ SPM/ JRF/ NET (LS)/ affiliations and/ or research outcomes. Being an alumni of LPU I believe that I can answer your query properly. LPU is one of the finest universities in India. The dept. Of Civil Engineering offers very dynamic study content. It not only focuses on teaching concepts of civil engineering but also lays stress on practical application of the principles and theories. Being more interested in structural engineering I personally found the content of courses like, Design of Structures, Bridge design, Fluid Mechanics designed in such an interesting way that you hardly find any other university working on syllabus enhancement to such an extent as LPU does. The dept. Of civil engineering has all the required labs with up to date machinery and modern equipment. They also have NABL-accredited lab for mechanical testing of building materials which makes LPU the only private university in India and first university in Punjab to receive this accreditation. Their curriculum for civil engineering is revised every year by leading professionals in the field of construction industry and the students represent LPU at various national and international level competitions for civil engineering. Their placements are also at par with the demand in industry. Many construction giants like Linkhouse Buildwell, KEC international, L&T have been vising LPU for placements. They have labs maintained by Bentley which provides training for the latest software which are in demand by the industry. They also teach practical applications of the latest software like Staad Pro v8i, E-tabs, MS Project, Primavera, Auto Cad, Sewer Gems, Plaxis etc. As of now the placement scenarios is very attractive for civil engineering student from LPU. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science takes into consideration students who have passed their Higher Secondary Examination with commendable marks for admission. The University strictly follows the eligibility criteria of UGC norms.
Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE) : An online Entrance Examination (HITSEEE) is conducted every year at various cities across India. Students seeking admission for undergraduate programmes (B.Tech) have to register online to appear for the Entrance Examination on dates specified in the media advertisements.
B. Tech.Programme admission : Admission will be based on merit, considering the Entrance exam marks along with Plus Two / HSC / Intermediate / equivalent examinations marks etc. as per university norms.
So from above HITS conducts own entrance exam for B.Tech admissions, So you need to appear in HITSEEE for getting admission here in B.Tech courses. JEE Main scores are not applicable here.
