Hello Ullasa, you have completed your Diploma in electronics and communication engineering and is now seeking advice as to what courses you should do. Right? I feel that the best and the most optimum solution is to go in for graduation in engineering in the related field of your Diploma. By this method you will be in touch with the topic which you have already studied also the study for graduation will not be too tough for you. Hello Sunil, I can understand your anxiety and angst for the admission of your son after he has completed his Diploma in mechanical engineering. Unfortunately for lateral entry directly into second year of four year degree courses every state has laid down eligibility rules indicating which branches of Diploma will be eligible for which branches of engineering degree. However there is one more option which is open to you and which will not involve losing too many years for your son. Hello Delhi Vento, Central seat allocation board, allocates the seats based on the choices given by the students and as per the second formula of the admissions perfected over many years. It can also happen that the choice which you have given also was given by those placed in the merit list above you and hence you were not allotted the seat. Admissions process is famous for throwing many surprises. This is so since it all depends on the choice of students and how it relates with each others choices.
