Hello Om Katiyar, it's very nice to hear from you that after doing your graduation in mechanical engineering you are not interested in pursuing another subject that is psychology. If you want to pursue a career in psychology or psychological counselling then you definitely need post graduation Certificate for getting the clientale. As a graduate engineer you can appear for and seek permission for post graduation degree of M.A. in psychology. Not for for technical education (NFTE) implies that a candidate who has not obtained eligibility for third semester after a period of three academic years from the date of first admission shall be declared NFTE. However, the candidate is eligible for readmission for first year B.E. /B.Tech. In any college of the University. The candidate shall complete the course within a period of eight academic years from the date of first admission, failing which he/she has to discontinue the course.
