We normally use the word lateral admission when a student who has completed his Diploma in engineering is seeking admission directly into second year of four year degree course of engineering. But you are already doing your engineering from college and interested in changing you are college. Right? Frankly speaking it's very tough to do this. Theoretically it is possible to do this when the college in which you want to go belongs to the same university and the same branch you want to take admission. However if you had taken admission in a private engineering college the

Hello Mitali Saxena, the career path of aeronautical engineering graduates in India is really very tough. There are hardly any private companies which employ graduates of this branch. If we call at the data of the previous batches who have passed out we come to a startling information that majority of the students have opted for MS in the same branch abroad for MBA in India. A very minor percentage could get the job related to the branch. Even the supposedly good employers in DRDO and ISRO who are in this field in the country employee specialist from almost all the subjects for their percent in aeronautical dreams. My sincere advice is

Hello Suyog, do you have not ask specifically I assumed that you are asking the question as to whether you will get admission in engineering College via lateral mode. Right? You have obtained reasonably good percentage in your Diploma examination and I am very sure that with this percentage you are bound to get admission not only in an engineering college but in a reasonably good engineering College. So do not worry and wait for the announcement by your state of the results of the admission process. Best wishes to you.

The thing to understand is that depending on the industrial situation prevailing when you will be passing out and of course the corresponding economic condition of the country different companies will come for placements of students of different colleges. So rather than the branch of the engineering it's the economic condition four years from today when you will be passing out will play a vitally important role in getting placed after completion of the degree course. Hello Vinodh, weather this HKBK engineering College or any other college, no institution will give you actual guarantee for a job. they will tell you as to the percentage of students placed in previous years and of course paint a very rosy picture of the future. but in practice nobody can predict what is going to happen 4 years from now when you will be passing out of your engineering graduation course. the only way one can ensure your placements for job is to study seriously and try to learn and understand different subjects which are taught in the college. Once you do this to the best of your ability be assured that you will be place
