Hello Nisha Kumari, yes you are definitely eligible to go for graduation. As a matter of fact the students who have cleared Diploma are given direct admission into second year of engineering under what is called as lateral admission process. Some States conduct and entrance exam for this while some States give admission based on the marks obtained in your Diploma examination. You will need to find this out from the directorate of technical education of your state or from your institute where you completed your Diploma. Best wishes to you.

Hello R W, no it is not compulsory to go in for graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma in engineering. Diploma is considered as equivalent to 12th in many states. Hence if your state too has given this then you can join any degree course since eligibility is invariably 12th. In addition I would sincerely advise you that please select that subject for graduation in which you have great interest.
