Hello Kumarwel, doing your graduation in engineering in part-time method is entirely different than doing it under distance education mode. For those students who have taken admission for graduation in engineering under part time mode, can complete it only in that fashion and cannot begin in the distance education mode where you have left off in the part time mode. If at all you want to go for distance education you have to start afresh. My sincere advice to you would be to seek AMIE certification rather than going in for some distance education course which in any case is fraught with danger as UGC had said no to professional courses being taught under distance education mode. AMIE is equivalent to graduation in engineering for all purposes including promotions in the job and also seeking admission for post graduation in engineering. Best wishes to you.

But unfortunately you have not raised any such issues so I will clarify about the entrance exams. For admissions to Central government sponsored or Central government enabled colleges like NIT for IIT a student needs to appear for or j e Mains examination and then JEE Advanced examination. Many state governments have started accepting the scores of JEE Mains as criteria for giving admissions two engineering colleges in their states so if you belong to such state you need to appear in this examination to get admission. Some States conduct their own examination for or giving admission to engineering colleges and if you happen to be in such a state like Maharashtra you need to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the state of Maharashtra. Above this may be deemed to be university is also conduct their own examinations for admitting students. I am sure you would have understood something but not understood many things. Hello Diwakar, if I may say so your ranking in the entrance exam conducted by the state of Andhra Pradesh for admission to engineering colleges is a bit on the lower side. I am afraid with this ranking it would be very tough to get admission in the branch of CSE. This is so because almost every student gives this branch as the first choice and as a result the cutoffs are very stringent. If you want admission only in this branch then the option available to you would be to SEE admission in deemed to be universities or management quota of private engineering colleges.
