It is a good branch. It has some of syllabus of mechanics also. But, I will consider you, if you are getting (MCE) branch I. e mathematics and computing, then go for it, because in DTU, there are better placement opportunities. But, PAI is also a very good branch. If you are interested, then go for it.

Hi Pavan, NIFT does not offer B.Tech. It offers courses in B. Des (Bachelors in design). For B.Tech, you will have to appear for engineering entrance exams like JEE, IIT, GATE BITSAT etc. Once you get admission into an engineering college then you can opt for whichever course you are eligible for, according to your rank and the college you get, be that B.Tech in textile, computer Science, automobile or anything else.

Hello Yana, you have indeed raised a very interesting query. These days for getting into medical stream into any college in India a student has to appear for only one exam. Unfortunately for getting into an engineering college this is not so. Four different reasons governments at the state and the centre have not come together to lessen the burden on the students of entrance examinations for engineering colleges. At the national level there are two important examinations called JEE Mains for getting admission in two different National institutes of technologies and also as eligibility to appear for JEE Advanced which is the entrance ex

Hello Geddam, your ranking in this entrance examination is definitely reasonably good. But for getting the branch of CSE it is a bit on the lower side. This is so since almost every student gives this branch as the first choice and due to this the cutoffs are really stiff for this branch. However to help you I am attaching a link that can predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in this examination. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/ap-eamcet-college-predictor
