The cutoff percentage is varying according to categories. So please write about the category you belongs for better response. However the last year cutoff percentage for Mechanical for General candidate was 90.20. Hence your chances are moderate here.

Candidates claiming advantage of reserved categories, subcategories are required to indicate the same in the Online Registration Form and are not required to submit any certificate to the University at this stage. Scanned copies of all relevant documents are to be uploaded after seat allotment and deposition of seat acceptance fee. Formats for various certificates to be submitted are available on the HBTU, Kanpur website
(www.hbtu.ac.in).

Hello Surajit, it's very nice to know your desire to do M.Tech though via online course. How Ava I would not like to recommend that you should follow this path. Firstly because professional courses are not be done online they need to be done in physical mode only. Secondly in many cases such courses have not been accepted by the approving authorities. You should look for doing something else other than M.Tech. Best wishes to you.
