Hello Raheel, it's a good aim to do graduation in engineering, but unfortunately there is a ban on conducting any professional courses via distance mode of education. Hence I would strongly advise you not to look for this method. However if you are employed then you can think of doing AMIE, which is equivalent to graduation in engineering for all practical purposes. Best wishes to you.

Hello Nitin, you have asked really interesting and relevant query. But unfortunately the answer is not in one word. When any establishment issues advertisement for vacancies, at that time they will give out eligibility for the prospective candidates to apply. If in your case the advertisement States post graduation in mathematics then you will not be eligible but if it states post graduation in mathematics or any Science subject or graduation in engineering then only you would be eligible. Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IIT Dharwad) is an autonomous premier Science and Technology Institute established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in 2016 under the mentorship of IIT Bombay. Academic activities at IIT Dharwad commenced in July 2016 with B.Tech course being offered in three core branches, namely, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. So being a new institute no ranking and placement statistics are available, however getting admission in any IIT is matter of pride for every student.
