Hello Mohini, if I may say so your ranking in this entrance examination for engineering students by Andhra Pradesh government is a bit on the lower side. In addition almost every student games CSE as the first choice. Due to this cutoff for this particular branch are quite stiff. Of course for the branch of ECE this may not be so and you will probably get admission. To help you in this I am attaching a link that will predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in this examination. Yes you can get. There are only 5% seats in each branch which are fee waiver seats in every college of UPTU. To ensure the fee waiver seat you must carry your original income certificate (certificate number 12) with its online verification to the counselling center at the time of counselling. However during the admission you have to pay the full amount of fee, the institute will refund the balanced fee at time of completion of first semester.

Doing degree courses through distance or correspondence mode is not valid for employment or higher education purpose. hence avoid to do this if anybody is offering. B.Tech lateral regular, AMIE or B.Tech part time are the best available options.

The eligibility criteria of B.Tech Biotechnology of Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology Meerut is given below.
Eligibility Criteria : 10+2 with minimum 5 subjects passed with minimum 50% marks. Physics and Biology/ Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.
Admission Procedure : Students with valid scores in JEE-Main / Any State Engineering Entrance Examination are eligible for Direct Admission. Students securing 70% in class XII (CBSE/ ICSE Boards) or 65% (in State Boards) 2018-19 examinations are also eligible for Direct Admission. 5% additional weightage is given to Girl candidates.

There are two ways for getting B.Tech admission in COEP Pune. The first one is MHT CET and JEE Main is another one. The major admission in B.E. Courses in COEP are based on MHT CET conducted by State common entrance cell Maharashtra. As per the eligibility criteria, candidate has passed 12th with PCM with minimum 50% of marks if subjects taken together for general category. In most of the engineering colleges, the change in branch is permissible. So you can change your engineering branch. Every college have their own criteria of CGPA required for change in branch. So its better to asked to college regarding this. However generally students having CGPA above 7.5 are eligible to apply for change in branch.
