ICFAI University Jharkhand can be the good option for B.Tech Mining lateral. The eligibility criteria is three year Diploma in the respective branch of engineering with at least 45% marks in aggregate. Students in their final year of Diploma may also apply. Admission criteria : The selection of applicants into the programme is made through screening of application and interview. While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is given to their academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra co-curricular activities. You can't compare both the branch because both have their own field of work which are truly awesome. But if you are comparing both the branch in respect of jobs then I must say that you which have abundant of opportunities by having CSE degree in compare to mechanical, the starting amount of salary is much better then you get in mechanical. But if you have a good references then you can earn well in Mechanical would get placed at the post of J. E and would be easily promoted to Production Manager in 45yr.
