Admission Criteria of Rajeev Gandhi Government Engineering College Kangra for B.Tech courses :
1. The admission to the first 50% of the seats shall be made on the basis of merit/rank/score obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2020 hereinafter referred as JEE (Main)-2020}. The remaining 50% seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test-2020 (hereinafter referred as HPCET2020)
2. In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of JEE Main 2020 and HPCET-2020, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of 10+2 examination conducted by a recognised Board or University. The JEE Main percentile between 70-80 is very good enough for getting admission here.

"IMU-CET is scheduled on 16.08.2020 for admissions to the UG, PG and Research Programmes for the Academic Year 2020-21. The Registration link will be opened on 26.06.2020". So from above you can apply for IMUCET-2020. The eligibility criteria of IMUCET for B.Tech Marine Engineering is given below for an idea. Eligibility criteria : 10+2 or equivalent (PCM - 60% average and minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th Examination. )
Note: In case of SC/ST candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks, it will not apply to English marks. Important : Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for these programmes. Candidates seeking admissions to Marine Programmes are strongly recommended to have Passport. Please note that the name in the Passport should be the same as given in the 10th standard Certificate.
