Placements: In my course, a larger number of students were placed. The highest package is 10 LPA. Styker is the top recruiter. The researcher, sales engineer, service engineer, etc, are the postings available for this course. Over 60 percent of students got internships at Styker, Panacea Medical, and Johnson & Johnson.

Infrastructure: Non-AC classrooms are available for my department, the mess food is good, and the medical facilities are available. Good quality of food available in this college with time restrictions. The college management conducts a sports program once a month, and many students participated in the outside tournament.

Faculty: The college has good teachers. The course curriculum is relevant, and it may change from semester to semester. More courses are used for industry knowledge, and the semester exam is difficult because of the limited time period. The available teachers are knowledgeable, and the teaching is good for a larger number of teachers.

Other: Students should focus more on the core company, which should increase the demand for the course. Higher studies for this are available in different countries, and job offers are also available in different countries.

Placements: During the 6th semester itself, the placement training will start for the students, and about 95 percent of the students will be placed before the end of the 8th semester. The highest salary is about 52 LPA, the average is about 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is about 3 LPA. They have made collaborations with Japanese companies, and students will be offered full-time jobs after internship opportunities with top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Pega, Infosys, Amazon, etc. Also, the students will be offered internships for roles like data scientist, data analytics, FSD, SDE, UI/UX development, etc.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious, and the campus offers free Wi-Fi. The labs are extraordinary, and the COEs are very excellent. They have kept the central library accessible to students at any time. The hostel facilities are quite good; the Wi-Fi is enabled even when the power is off, and the laundry services are very great and useful for the hostel students.

The Chennai Institute of Technology campus is known as a green campus with several facilities for its students. The facilities include well-furnished and spacious classrooms, medical and sports facilities, etc. The other facilities provided to the students of the institute include:

Library: The CIT campus has a well-stocked library that includes quality books, journals and magazines of national and international level. Reference and issue sections, as well as, a digital library, and reading room are at this library.
Canteen: CIT canteen is one of the most happening places on the campus. It is known for its savoury food, but it is also the place where students make some of the best memories of their college life. There are two canteens one at the main entrance and another at the back entrance, catering to all possible varieties of food. Both canteens are hygienic and well-maintained.
Hostel: CIT has hostels for men and women, located within the campus. The hostels with well-furnished rooms provide an ideal ambience to make residents feel at home. The hostels have wired internet connectivity. The Men’s hostel is a multi-storied building. A single room is allotted to each student. The hostel includes indoor sporting facilities and a common room on the ground floor. Residents can use the Chennai Institute of Technology boarding facilities.
Bank: CIT has a Bank branch and an ATM counter on the campus. It is on the first floor of the main building. Students can open an account easily by fulfilling the common requirements of the bank.
Health Centre: CIT provides primary health facilities to students. The students also have access to the hospital, which is also housed on the same campus.
