EURECOM has a vibrant, eco-friendly campus. Located on the French Riviera, EURECOM offers students diving, sailing, beach parties, skiing week-ends, rafting in the Verdon Gorges, and the simple pleasure of living in a place that enjoys 300 days of sun a year, only a two-hour flight away from Europe’s the largest capitals. The school does not provide on-campus housing facilities to their students. However, the admission office helps its future students find accommodation by providing them access to a variety of accommodation of offers.

CAF (Public Housing Benefit) provides accommodation to EURECOM students. To apply for CAF, students will need:

• An accommodation rental contract
• A French bank account
• A birth certificate in your native language and officially translated into French

Yes, some EURECOM courses are accredited by recognised bodies:

• EURECOM’s Master degrees are internationally recognised as they are nationally accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and can give access to further PhD Studies. Also, these degrees are 3IA certified. The Master in Digital Security has been granted the SecNumedu certification by the National Cybersecurity Agency of France (ANSSI).
• EURECOM’s Post Master’s degrees are fully recognised by the French State as they are accredited by the CTI. Both the degrees have been granted the European quality Label: EURACE, which guarantee a high level of academic content and relevance to market needs. The Post Master in Security in Computer Systems and Communications has been granted the SecNumedu
  certification by the National Cybersecurity Agency of France (ANSSI).

EURECOM has secured the rank #451-500 in QS World University Ranking by Subject in 2023 edition. According to ARWU Shanghai Global Ranking in 2021 and 2022, EURECOM is ranked among the world’s top universities in Telecommunication Engineering and the second best institution in France by subject for the course mentioned. The institution also received the rank the #2 leading France research institution for computer science in the 2020 by Top Computer Scientists Ranking  (6^th edition), which was published by Guide2Research.

In 2020 Scimago Institutions rankings based on research, impact and innovation, EURECOM is :

EURECOM has a three-point eligibility criteria for both the scholarships offered to the students.

Carnot TSN Excellence Scholarship Program:

1) Candidate must be holding a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, etc.) from a recognised top university :

• must appear in one of the international ranking list: THE,  QS,  ARWU
• or in Top 50 Chinese Universities according to ARWU, Top 50 Indian engineering colleges or universities  (NIRF India)
• Depending on the case, top universities of the country appearing in THE, QS, ARWU, CS Ranking, Scimago by subject : Computer Science and ICT;  or Location:  Asia or Latin America ranking or in QS BRICS, Asia, Latin America, Arab Region or EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia) ranking

2) Candidates must hold a minimum overall GPA score of 3.5/4 or belong to the top 10% of their graduating class

3) Be research-driven: Candidates must be able to demonstrate their appetite to undertake a PhD after the Master (a short letter explaining the motivation for research and possible topic will be required)

Note: The selection of candidates and the granting of the scholarship is done based solely on the evaluation of the academic records of the candidates, their motivation and the recognition of their university.

6G Excellence Scholarship Program:

1) Candidates must be holding a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, etc.) from a recognised top university:

• must appear in one of the international ranking list: THE,  QS,  ARWU
• or in Top 50 Chinese Universities according to ARWU , Top 50 Indian engineering colleges or universities  (NIRF India)
• Depending on the case, top universities of the country appearing in THE, QS, ARWU, CS Ranking, Scimago by subject : Computer Science and ICT;  or Location:  Asia or Latin America ranking or in QS BRICS, Asia, Latin America, Arab Region or EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia) ranking

2) Candidates must hold a minimum overall GPA score of 3.5/4 (Or CGPA of 7/10) or belong to the top 10% of their graduating class

3) Candidates must demonstrate a proven interest in future intelligent networks (6G) and some of the fields of specialization: Wireless Communications, Mobile Computing, Networking, Mobile Applications and Services, communication theory, Signal Processing and learning for networks (a short letter of explanation will be required) Also, knowledge and willingness to work within the OpenAirInterface Alliance are very strong assets

Note: The selection of candidates and the granting of the scholarship is done based solely on the evaluation of the academic records of the candidates, their motivation (interest in future intelligent networks/6G) and the recognition of their university.

Yes, all the courses taught at EURECOM are open to exchange students (both technical and non-technical courses) and the language of teaching is English. Exchange students can also take foreign language courses and they are free to choose any courses they want in accordance with the regulations of their home university.

In order to pursue a course at EURECOM as an exchange student, applicants must be officially nominated by their home university and then fill the online application. They must also upload the documents listed below:

• CV
• Copy of ID/passport
• Statement of purpose / motivation letter
• Official transcript of records in English
• English Language Certificate or a letter written by the university stating that the student has sufficient skills in English

The application deadlines for the exchange programs are:

• Spring semester (Intake in March): 2 Nov, 2026
• Fall semester (Intake in September): 15 May, 2026
