Certificate	Candidates who have passed three year's Diploma with 60% marks or four year's Degree, with 50% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent are also eligible. The diploma/degree courses must have been recognised by any State or Central Government or the AICTE.
B.E. / B.Tech	Male candidates born on or after 1st September 1999 are eligible to apply for the 2022 batch. In accordance with Government of India guidelines, there is a two year age relaxation for female candidates and girls born on or after 1st September 1997 are eligible to apply for the 2022 batch. Only unmarried candidates will be considered. The Institute has laid down detailed minimum physical fitness and medical standards. The candidate has to meet these standards to qualify for admission.
