Uni-GAUGE exam centre will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other crucial details. Apart from name and address of allotted Uni-GAUGE exam centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines etc. Date for admit card release is published along with the information brochure on the official website. Candidates have to download the admit card for Uni-GAUGE after logging and providing details such as Uni-GAUGE application ID and password.

While reporting at the examination centre, the candidates will be required to present their AUEET admit card. Along with the AUEET admit card, the candidates will also have to present any one of the following photo identity proof - Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/Driving License/School ID. If the candidates are not able to present their admit card of photo identity proof at the centre, then they will not be allowed to attempt the examination.

Candidates will know their allotted AILET exam centre only from the admit card. There is no way to know the test centre before the release of the AILET admit card. The examination authority allots a test centre to aspirants in the city of their first preference as mentioned in the city. So, candidates can atleast be assured that they will get a test centre in the city they had chosen as first preference in the AILET application form. On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

  • AILET admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card.

Candidates will not be allowed to enter the AILET exam centre after reporting time. Thus, candidates must ensure they reach their exam centre on time. Candidates cannot change their AILET exam centre if they are late. They will have to take the test at the allotted AILET exam centre 2024 only which is why, it is important to download the AILET admit card as soon as it releases. Candidates get ample time to make arrangements for the exam day, if their test centre is far off.

The candidate has to carry their admit card, passport size photograph and any government authorised ID such as Aadhar Card/Driving License/Voter's ID. The allocation of the PUBDET exam centres was based on the choices gave by the candidate during the online form fill up. However, the centre mentioned was final and no changes were made. No request for change of allocated centre was entertained under normal circumstances.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission allot the UPPCS prelims exam centres based on the first apply first allot basis. In most cases, the applicant get the UPPSC exam centre of their choice. The Commission conduct the exam in 51 districts across the state but there are 76 disctricts in the state. Hence some candidates face the problem of travelling to the nearest exam centre from their place of residence.

For the main exam, there are only three cities where the exam is conducted. The UPPSC main exam is conducted in three districts namely - Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad.

Allocation of PUBDET examination centre is based on the choices of zones given by the candidate. However, under unavoidable circumstances, any candidates may be allocated in a zone out of his/her choice. Discretion of the Board in allocation of examination zone/centre shall be final. No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates can all details related to PUBDET exam centre on the official website of the exam and on Shiksha page.

Yes. Candidates can choose the exam centre the nearest to them. However, candidates are advised that once the application form is submitted, the candidate can not change their exam centre so be careful.The allocation of the PUBDET exam centres was based on the choices gave by the candidate during the online form fill up. However, the centre mentioned will be final and no changes will be made. No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under normal circumstances.
