The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission allot the UPPCS prelims exam centres based on the first apply first allot basis. In most cases, the applicant get the UPPSC exam centre of their choice. The Commission conduct the exam in 51 districts across the state but there are 76 disctricts in the state. Hence some candidates face the problem of travelling to the nearest exam centre from their place of residence.

For the main exam, there are only three cities where the exam is conducted. The UPPSC main exam is conducted in three districts namely - Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad.

Allocation of PUBDET examination centre is based on the choices of zones given by the candidate. However, under unavoidable circumstances, any candidates may be allocated in a zone out of his/her choice. Discretion of the Board in allocation of examination zone/centre shall be final. No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates can all details related to PUBDET exam centre on the official website of the exam and on Shiksha page.

Yes. Candidates can choose the exam centre the nearest to them. However, candidates are advised that once the application form is submitted, the candidate can not change their exam centre so be careful.The allocation of the PUBDET exam centres was based on the choices gave by the candidate during the online form fill up. However, the centre mentioned will be final and no changes will be made. No request for change of allocated centre will be entertained under normal circumstances.

If a candidate faces technical issue in the computer based test at TISSNET exam centre, he/she must immediately alert the exam invigilator. Candidates are advised to listern to the instructions provided by the instructor carefully. If the technical glitch persists invigilator or staff can help the candidates replace the system. In case of technical glitch at TISSNET exam centre, candidates will be extra time duration to cover up for the time loss.

If a candidate arrives late the TISSNET exam centre he/she will not be permitted to enter the examination hall. Candidate will not be allowed to take the examination under any circumstances. TISSNET 2024 exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 3.40 PM. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the given exam timing. The gates of the TISSNET exam centre will close at 1.45 PM. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall post 1.45 PM.

It is advised to adhere to the exam date and time, failing which applicants candidature will stand cancelled.

If candidate is unable to locate the exam center on TISSNET exam day, he/she must try following the way to locate the exam centre and reach on time:

  1. Plan ahead Before the exam day. Candidates must locate the TISSNET exam centre using GPS and determine the best route and ETA.

  2. Leave for the alloted TISSNET exam centre early to tackle any difficulty faced on the route.

  3. If candidate is having trouble finding the TISSNET exam center, he/she must approach local residents in the vicinity.
