A weak performance in the BSEB improvement exam leads to lower total percentages rather than improvement since exam scores will replace previous scores in specific subjects. Your examination results from the improvement test will substitute all your past examination scores from the individual subject. A score of 40 marks in the improvement exam leads to lowering your new total score by 20 marks from your previous performance of scoring 60 marks. The passing threshold for subjects raises from 0–32 marks to 33 or above. To earn better marks in addition to having an improved total percentage you must dedicate sufficient effort to studyi

Accordin to CBSE guidelines you can participate in improvement examinations for July 2025 after successfully finishing your 2024 12th grade exams. Within five years after exam completion date the Central Board of Secondary Education enables students to conduct improvement exams. The 2024 exam passing date makes you eligible to take improvement examinations during the 2025 session. Different categories of subjects have payment requirements between INR 200 and INR 1000 for the improvement exams. Students can take improvement examinations in multiple subjects through one or more such tests to raise their evaluation scores.

If you passed the improvement exams for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and meet the required aggregate marks (50% for general, 40% for reserved categories), you should be eligible to appear for the NEET UG exam. Admission to MBBS courses in India is based on NEET scores, so as long as you qualify in NEET and meet the subject requirements, you are eligible for MBBS admission. Check the specific eligibility criteria of the colleges you're applying to, as some may have additional requirements.

Yes, NITs will accept your improved score only if you have only 73% in your 12th borad. You are adviced to appear for improvement exams only if you are from general category as the minimum requirement to appear for JEE is 75% for general. But if you are from other category such as SC/ST, you need not to appear for improvement exam as you're already eligible for JEE. So the answer of your question is yes, the NITs will consider your improved score only and you're adviced to appear for improvement exam only if you're from general category.

If you completed your 12th in 2023 and submit the improvement form for the 2024 exams, but didn't write the exams, you can apply for it in 2025. Here's how it works:

As you have passed the unsuccessful subjects in 2024, you are generally permitted to appear for improvement tests in 2025 only if you want to advance your overall marks or obtain a better grade in your particular subjects. The particular conditions may vary slightly; you may check with your board or school for its own specific rules. Improvement tests are usually there for candidates who have already passed class 12 and wish to improve their grades.

If the school board with which you are affiliated permits it, you may take an improvement exam as a private student. Within a certain time frame following your initial 12th grade results, you can usually take improvement exams once or twice to raise your scores in particular courses. For example the CBSE and many state boards allow students to register as private candidates for further attempts at development these boards typically have eligibility requirements and an application deadline.

You should review your boards specific rules as they differ with the number of attempts and time allotted for improvement examinations.

Most universities, including Delhi University (DU), grant students the right to apply for improvement exams within a specified period after completing their degree, generally one or two years depending on the policy. As graduation was done in 2019, it would not be possible to apply for the improvement exam in 2024 for degree courses that were completed in 2019, especially since DU does not generally allow improvement examinations after a number of years.

Contact the college's examinations office or the DU examination department for specific information on improvement exams regarding your case. Perhaps there are better options, such as d
