Yes, you can apply to colleges in Delhi that give 85% of their spots to local students. To qualify, you need to have scored more than 75% in your 12th grade and taken the improvement exam. According to Delhi's government rules, this special chance is for students who finished their school in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
Make sure you meet all the requirements of the college or university you want to join. Also, watch for admission announcements and application deadlines for the colleges you're interested in. Taking part in the counselling process will help you get a better chance of getting a spot.

As you have passed the unsuccessful subjects in 2024, you are generally permitted to appear for improvement tests in 2025 only if you want to advance your overall marks or obtain a better grade in your particular subjects. The particular conditions may vary slightly; you may check with your board or school for its own specific rules. Improvement tests are usually there for candidates who have already passed class 12 and wish to improve their grades.

As graduation was done in 2019, it would not be possible to apply for the improvement exam in 2024 for degree courses that were completed in 2019, especially since DU does not generally allow improvement examinations after a number of years.
Contact the college's examinations office or the DU examination department for specific information on improvement exams regarding your case. Perhaps there are better options, such as d

If you are taking the CBSE Improvement exam for four subjects and had earlier selected only four subjects for your board exams, the score for the 5th will remain what you obtained unless you take it for the improvement exam because it is Physical Education. But as per CBSE regulations, if you have not chosen the 5th subject for improvement, it will continue bearing the old marks you obtained.
You could make an attempt at the improvement exams in only those subjects you studied initially and cannot add new subjects for that same improvement attempt. Therefore, the 5th subject score (Physical Education) will not be altered unless it was a

Improvement exams are usually meant for those students who have passed out a few months back and have a desire to improve their scores. Since you are a pass out of 2020, you may not be eligible to take improvement exams for the academic year 2025 since generally, the facilities for improvement exams are available only for current candidates or those who have completed their exams in the preceding years. However, the particular policies may differ from institution to institution, so the best course is to contact the appropriate examination authority or institution for the precise eligibility criteria.
