It is advised that the candidates check the eligibility criteria before COAP 2023 registration. Applications from candidates who do not meet the eligibility conditions are liable to be rejected. If due to any reasons whatsoever, a person misses the internal examinations, he has a chance to appear in the same. He can fill up the form of re-appear so that he gets the opportunity to do so. Appearing in the internal examinations is extremely helpful for a student to know the subject and get an idea of how he can pursue the main University examinations. A person must have a proper attendance criteria that is required to appear for the examinations.

To appear for IBSAT online proctored examination, candidates must:

  • Login through the link shared on the registered email address and enter unique ID and Date of Birth to access the IBSAT exam
  • Complete the verification process. In the first level verify facial photo and in the second level of the verification process, candidate's will have to display their IBSAT hall ticket 2026 and valid ID proof when asked.
  • Read the exam instructions carefully.
  • Attempt the IBSAT exam online.

IBSAT 2026 exam will be held in remote proctored home. Candidates can take the test from any location with good internet connection. To appear for IBSAT online proctored examination, must have fulfilled the technical requirements to appear for exam.

The merit list for seal allocation will be prepared based on the GATE scores. There may be some cases where two or more candidates score the same marks; in such cases, the following will be considered:

Candidates will be required to deposit the following types of fees through SBI MOPS using Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or SBI Bank e-Challan. Check below for the types of fees for GATE CCMT counselling:

As we know, admission to the M.Tech programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs is done via CCMT counselling based on GATE scores. The conducting body for CCMT counselling changes every year. After the announcement of the organising body, candidates can check the result of the seat allotment on the official website.

The CCMT eligibility is mentioned below: - Candidates must have a valid GATE score - A minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks must be acquired in the qualifying exam (For General and OBC). -

For SC/ST/PwD category candidates, the eligibility is set at a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks.

Candidates who are interested in applying for M.Tech programmes at NITs, GFTIs, and CFTIs will have to apply via CCMT (Centralised Counselling for M.Tech). Those who want to apply for M.Tech programmes in IITs will have to apply through COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal). State and Private universities also have their own counselling processes based on GATE scores. To register for the GATE counselling, candidates have to visit the official website of CCMT.
