If a student misses an internal exam at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, there can be consequences and policies in place to address such situations. Here are some possible scenarios:
1. Make-up Exam: Depending on the institutes policies, NIT Delhi may offer a make-up exam or an opportunity to reappear for the missed internal exam. This allows students who have valid reasons for missing the exam, such as illness or emergency, to make up for the missed assessment. However, it is important to note that the availability of a make-up exam and the specific guidelines may vary depending on the course and the decision of the fa

Issuance of offer of appointment including terms and conditions, formalities for verification, joining etc. Is solely the decision of the participating banks and shall be final and binding. IBPS shall have no role therein. Any queries in this regard shall be directed to the participating banks only. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and interview. The marks are normalised out of 100 to announce the final result of IBPS PO. The provisional allotment of candidates is done based on merit-cum-preference of candidates. Candidates are allocated to the participating banks as per their marks and cut off.

Faculty will inform their parents and ask the valid reason for the absence in internal examination. The student will have to give exam again in the next semester to pass. Try not missing or falling any exam as NIMS Institute of Management is really strict with it exam policies.

A candidate belonging to reserved category, selected on the basis of norms as applicable to General Category, will be treated at par with a General category candidate. Such own merit candidates belonging to reserved categories who are provisionally allotted under unreserved (General) category will not be adjusted against a reserved post. A reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each category may be kept, subject to the availability of candidates. This does not guarantee provisional allotment to/recruitment by the participating banks. In the event of Participating Banks providing further vacancies, provisional allotment may be carried out three to four times for the candidates in the reserve list.

No, the marks of IBPS PO prelims exam are not considered for the final merit list. For provisional allotment of candidates, only the marks obtained in Mains and interview are considered. IBPS PO scores are calculated out of 100 marks. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are taken into consideration to select candidates for the Mains exam. The prelims exam is qualifying in nature. It is just to screen candidates for the Mains exam. Candidates need to qualify the prelims exam inorder to get shortlisted for the Mains exam. Candidates need to secure the desired cut off marks to get shortlisted for the Mains exam.

IBPS calculates the IBPS PO marks of the candidates through a method called normalisation that help candidates to get a rounded-up figure. Since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts and days the difficulty level of the question paper varies from one shift to another. Normalisation of score is done to balance and assist in fair evaluation. This method is followed both for prelims and Mains exams. Some of the benefits of normalisation are given below:
The first assumption made for normalisation of marks is that the candidates across all the shifts of the exam have similar abilities
