There are a couple of key differences between a MBA and an Executive MBA in the following categories:
Cost - An Executive MBA is usually about 2 to 3 times more expensive than a regular MBA.
Entry requirements - Regular MBA applicants usually have to write the GMAT or a similar test and have a minimum of 2 to 3 years work experience. Executive programs may waive the testing requirement depending on the applicants background (i.e. work experience and/or undergrad) and usually require a minimum of 8 to 10 years work experience.

To apply for Thapar's Executive MBA programme candidate should have a Bachelors's degree from any government recognized university in India or an equivalent degree from overseas. Minimum of six years of work experience is necessary for the candidate to be eligible to apply for the Executive MBA programme.

The Business School of LPU is accredited from ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry experienced faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. There are faculty members with good experience and pass outs from good B-Schools including Iims. Good to read that you intend to pursue further education to enhance your business acumen. Since, you are doing your own business it would be a better idea to pursue MBA in Entrepreneurship. A lot of institutes offer such a programme on part-time basis/distance learning model.
