It depends on what your family business is. If it is anything related to clothes or garments, you can do textile engineering and then MBA. However, if you want to have a strong accountancy and financial foundation then you should go for B.Com (H).

Totally Worth it!
Many family businesses are dying at the hands of giants like Amazon, Reliance. People now-a-days use BigBasket or Amazon or Dmart to fulfil their supplies instead of local Kirana stores. In this changing era to save family businesses high level the latest business methods are to be known. When it comes to Family businesses, I would say the main considerations with any education choice for potentially entering the business would be:

You should go for BBA and MBA programme or any management course, which helps you in your future for joining family business or you can start your own business. BBA and MBA are helpful for learning business management so I would suggest you to go for BBA and after that MBA.

Almost all colleges don't provide placements after BBA in family business and entrepreneurship. Students pursue this course who want to continue their family business or want to start their own business. You can go for any either IT or entrepreneurship because it depends on you which type of business you want to start, as IT or entrepreneurship is additional subject in BBA the basic knowledge of management you will get in BBA.
