it is possible to get into NIFT,But there are some exams conducted based on your integrated specialisation around fashion industry and other foremost thing is your samples or port folios make you to consider yourself to get into it confidently without any flaws and it may get into the consideration.

hello.buddy
your interest and creativity works well and good in fashion industry. it's not upto the stream of study you choose. in fashion industry two kund of courses are introduced, one thing is integrated course based on fashion M.tech fashion technology and other thing is three years course B.sc costume design and fashion precisely called as CDF. some institutes conduct an exam based on it.for example NIFT. so think wise and choose wise.All the best for your career.

Dear Chaitanya, since you are in your final year I will also advice you to complete your degree or your previous years would be wasted and you will not be having the foundation for a good career ahead. So it would be wise if you can listen to your parents for now. You may pursue fashion designing, infact your commerce background will open up more avenues and you will be surprised to find the many opportunities you will be landing up with. All the best.
