Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Film, TV and Animation Studies does not accepts CAT score. The college conducts an admission test including various sections for admission to Diploma courses. Aspirants have to meet the eligibility criteria and qualify the test for admission. Selected candidates have to further come for the personal interview round for final selection.

There is, however no 100 per cent placement guarantee by MIT School of Film and Theatre, ADT University. The facility for direct admission is not available at the MIT School of Film and Theatre, ADT University for B.Sc. in Film Making. Candidates need to pass through an entrance test. Besides the online aptitude test, a creative test is also conducted. Then, personal interview with respective candidates will be done based on which self-analysis and socio-political awareness of that particular candidate along with the knowledge about cinema will be checked.
