Specialization in HR and Finance is completely different. First of all it depends on your interest level. HR is all about human resource where you will learn about employee relations, labor laws, training & development, recruitment etc. Where as in finance you will get to deal and handle the financial part. As mentioned by you that you are from humanities background, ideally you should opt for HR. But at the end it's all your decision as per your interest level so that after your education you can land up to that career where you can enjoy and love your work. I would suggest you not do a dual degree. You can do MBA after graduation. Doing MBA after B.Sc is not difficult. MBA is a practical oriented course and Science student are able to do it well. Initially business students have about 10 percent advantage but at the end everyone is at the same level.
