Finance specialisation is doing good after marketing. Good companies like Honeywell are visiting the campus for placements. The experience that you have may help in negotiating while you have the interview. It will obviously fetch you a good score in selection rounds. Overall placements are 96% for all specialisations. Detailed description on placements could be drawn from college administrative department.

MBA finance is a very good MBA specialization with a lot of scope and opportunities. If you are good at number crunching, have a superior numerical ability, good data interpretation aptitude, problem-solving and creative thinking and you are also a strategic thinker then you must opt for MBA finance. As you are a science student, you may have to obtain CMA, CFA etc. professional degree while on the job for your career growth in the field of finance.

There are multiple functional specializations in MBA such as finance, marketing, human resources, IT, SCM, logistics, operations, systems, general management or sector specific specialisations like travel & transportation, telecommunications, healthcare, banking, insurance, etc. Humanities graduates are eligible for all MBA specialisations.

B.Ed qualification will not add value to your target of doing MBA. You should have opted for MBA immediately after B.Sc. MBA Finance is an excellent option if you have strong numerical and data interpretation ability.

Diploma
Diploma in a layman language is a short term course generally up to 2 yrs which mainly focus on training a person in a particular field.They are one of the quick and best way to get a job as their course is more practical oriented. The importance of diploma as compared to degree is relatively less.
