M.Sc Statistics followed by PhD is a good option if you are interested in academic field. With statistics background you can pursue career in government organization, in banking and finance sector or you can find your prospect in corporates as business analytics or as data scientist. On the other hand if you like to see yourself as corporate manager, MBA in finance specialization from a brand B-School may be handy for you. Both the field is prospective, and you are to choose one based on your interest and at the call from your inner mind.

PRO'S:- College is providing dual specialisation i.e. MBA+PGPM. Faculty wise college is excellent because they provide all faculty from IIM's and IIT'S - but most are guest faculty. Placement wise is also excellent because the average salary package college is providing is Rs. 6-7 lakh per annum to each student.
The infrastructure is not very great. The college is still in progressive stage.

It totally depends on your own interst. Some of the top MNC companies will provide high payscale for graduates of MBA finance sector than that of IBPS employees. So, consider to take CAT coaching. If you want to work in a bank then totally focus on IBPS coaching and grab a job. RACE and T.I.M.E are some of the best coaching centres.
All the best.
