Here is an idea of the BSc Forensic Science admission procedure:

STEP 1: Check Eligibility
Check and fulfil the eligibility criteria for the course.
STEP 2: Choose Entrance Exams
Appear for exams basis the institute you are targeting, along with national-level entrance exams.
STEP 3: Exam Preparations and Attendance
Get the syllabus of the exam and prepare for it. Attend the exam on the scheduled date.
STEP 4: Await Results
Stay updated regarding the result dates of the entrance exam and visit the official site to see the results.
STEP 5: Counseling

Forensic Science deals with the investigation and solution of the crimes. Students can investigate a demo crime scene using instrumentation techniques, DNA profiling, document examination etc.

On the other hand, BTech Biotechnology focuses on biological processes in a technical way to manufacture a quality product. So, both courses have different perspectives but biology is the common factor of the two courses.
