GLA University BCom admission process starts with the application process. Students who wish to seek admission via GLAET must apply for the exam. The university offers both offline and online modes for application submission. Next, students must appear for the exam. The test runs for one hour and contains MCQ-type questions.
Once the exam results are declared, the admission committee ranks the registered candidates based on their marks in the entrance exam. GLA University BSc admissions are subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria. For each specialisation, the eligibility conditions vary. Listed below are the specialisation-wise eligibility conditions to be met by the applicants’:
- Biotech- Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Maths/Biotechnology with at least 50% aggregate
- Physics- Class 12 with Physics with at least 50% aggregate
- Chemistry- Passed Class 12 with Chemistry with a minimum of 50% aggregate
- Agriculture- Passed Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture or a two-year Diploma in Agriculture with at least 50% aggregate.

There are various flagship courses for students at IBM GLA University. A unique selection of undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate academic programs is available at the GLA Institute of Business Management. The institute currently provides a two-year postgraduate MBA (Master of Business Administration) programme in addition to undergraduate degrees in Business Administration (BBA) and Commerce (B.Com). The college also provides a Ph.D. degree with a management concentration. Students can choose any course. But MBA is one of the most chosen course at IBM GLA.
