GMR Institute of Technology offers offers courses at UG, PG and doctorate levels. The university offers MTech, BTech, MSc, BSc, BCom and PhD. Further, the college also offers lateral entry in BTech, admisison to lateral entry is based on score obtained in Andhra Pradesh ECET.

No, GMR Institute of Technology offers entrance-based admission to its UG and PG courses. To be eligible for admission candidates are required to apply and appear for the accepted exam. The college accepts Andhra Pradesh EAMCET and Andhra Pradesh ECET exam followed by counselling for BTech and Andhra Pradesh PGECET and GATE exam followed by counselling for M.Tech Additionaly, candidates are required to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria set by the college.
