While 340 seats sounds like a lot, BSc Physical Sciences is the most popular choice for students aiming for careers in Physics, Math, or Engineering-related fields. Because it attracts a massive number of applicants from all over Faridabad and nearby areas, the competition remains quite stiff. However, compared to the specialised Chemistry Major, you definitely have a statistically better chance of securing a spot here. It's a great option for students who want a broad foundation in Science without the extreme pressure of a tiny intake.

Yes, but it depends entirely on the merit list and how you filled out your application form. With 160 seats, BSc Life Sciences at Pt. JLN Government College offers more breathing room than Biotechnology. When you apply through the Haryana DHE portal, you should list your course preferences carefully. If your marks aren't high enough for the 40-seat Chemistry Major, the system will automatically check if you qualify for your next choice, like Physical Sciences. Just remember, once the seats are full across all lists, switching between courses becomes very difficult.

If a student does not get a seat in the first merit list of the Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Government College Faridabad BSc admission process, the student can still be considered in the second merit list. The second list is prepared using the same merit criteria. If seats remain vacant even after the second round, students can participate in physical counselling, where the college fills the remaining seats based on merit and availability.

According to the general rules of Maharshi Dayanand University, once a student submits the online examination form and pays the fee, the application normally cannot be withdrawn for a refund. However, if a refund is approved under special circumstances, students must submit a written request. Pt. JLN Government College will process the refund through bank transfer, RTGS, NEFT, or cheque.

This is where JLN Government College really shines. The professors at government colleges are recruited through very tough state-level exams (like HPSC), meaning they are often more qualified and experienced than teachers at many mid-tier private colleges. While a private college might have younger faculty and more modern teaching tools like smartboards, the "guru" or mentor figure at JLN usually has decades of academic experience. You get access to highly knowledgeable scholars who understand the syllabus deeply, though they might follow a more traditional, lecture-based style of teaching compared to private colleges.
