Yes, indeed Government College of Engineering or GCE Karad is one of the good colleges for engineering studies. Quality of existing course: The college provides good academic streams, well-experienced teaching staff and better infrastructural facilities. It is located below Shivaji University, Kolhapur and provides various undergraduate and post graduate courses. In the employment sector, GCE Karad has pulled through in providing placement to many of their students to companies such as TCS and Wipro. Also, as government institutions, they make their education relatively cheap while at the same time, offering quality education.

Considering the last three years' MHT CET cutoff, Government College of Engineering Karad cutoff 2023 for B.E. in Information Technology closed at 96.2, while it closed at 95.71 in 2022 and 96.88 in 2021. For B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, the cutoff this year closed at 92.87, it closed at 92.84 in 2022 and 94.73 in 2021.
