The direct admission to B.E. / B.Tech in Government College of Engineering, Karad is not available because such admissions are generally opened based upon entrance exams like MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) or JEE Main. However, there is a Management Quota or DSE Direct Second Year Admission available for some students, depending on the seat availability and eligibility criteria.

Quality of food in the hostel mess at Government College of Engineering, Karad is mostly satisfactory to most of the students. There are different varieties of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes according to the taste and preference of the students.

The entrance examination qualification in MHT-CET or JEE Main must be the proof of eligibility for a candidate to seek admission in Government College of Engineering, Karad.
