No. The Union Public Service Commission has released the official calendar for the 2026. The IES 2026 notification will be released on September 17, 2025. The IES 2026 applications will be filled online only. The candidates should note that the last date to apply online will be October 7, 2025. The UPSC will also provide the IES 2026 application correction facility also.

The Commission will conduct the IES 2026 Prelims exam on February 8, 2026.

SSC CHSL exam holds a total weightage of 200 marks, equally bifurcated in 4 sections i.e., English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Intelligence, and General Awareness. Implying, each of these sections amount of 50 marks with a total of 25 questions. Candidates need to score minimum 33% of marks to qualify the exam. Thus, it signifies that candidates need to score minimum 66 marks in order to pass the exam. Therefore, unfortunately with 55 marks you haven't passed the SSC CHSL exam.
