
RRB Group D Exam Centres 2026: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) released the RRB Group D city intimation slip for CEN No. 09/2025. The CBT admit card will be released for all the registered candidates around 4 days prior to the exam date. The PET call letter is issued to candidates who qualify the CBT exam. Candidates will be able to download it by logging with the user ID and password. With the help of city slip, candidates will come to know the exam city that is allotted by the authority.
However, RRB Group D exam centre details for CBT along with the timings and dates are mentioned on the RRB Group D admit card. The city intimation slip does not authorise candidates to appear for the exam. Candidates are allowed to appear for the exam only if the RRB Group D admit card is issued.

RRB Group D selection process comprises CBT, PET/PST, document verification and medical exam. The transgender candidates are given relaxation in the PET. CCAAs trained in railway establishment are given due weightage of marks obtained in their NCVT exam in preparation of final merit list after the conduct of CBT. Based on the performance of candidates in CBT subject to their qualifying in PER, candidates are called for document verification as per their merit and options. In case of two or more candidates secure same marks, their merit position is determined by age criteria i.e., older person is placed at higher merit and in case age is same, then alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name is taken into account to break the tie. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. All candidates clearing the DV are called for medical exam. RRBs/RRCs only recommend names of the empanelled candidates and appointment is offered only by the respective Railway Administrations.

Yes, candidates can change their states in the RRB Group D exam. This can be done by first choosing 'Application Modification' which is available in the home page of the registration portal. After candidates have chosen the preferred state, they need to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 100 for modifying the application. Once candidates have successfully paid the application fee they can make the necessary changes and then submit it. Please note that candidates will not be able to edit your registration number, email id, mobile number, and your zone. Candidates are required to fill the application form online. The application fee is INR 500 (for all candidates except the fee concession categories).
