The medical standard for Station Master in RRB NTPC exam has been categorised under A-2. Under the A-2 medical standard category, candidates must be physically fit in all aspects and should have a near vision of 0.6 with or without glasses and pass the test for colour vision, night vision, binocular vision, myopic vision. Candidates also need to clear the distant vision by 6/6 or 6/9 without glasses.

Every railway has different vacancies for different posts. So, while filling RRB NTPC post preference in the application form, candidates should first check the vacancies for that zone. If there are fewer vacancies in the home zone, candidates should look for the neighbouring zones with higher vacancies. Candidates will be given the post based on the preference they have filled in the RRB NTPC application form.

The number of vacancies are different for different posts. So, while filling RRB NTPC post preference candidates must know the vacancies for that zone. You can make changes in RRB NTPC Post Preference Change before the third stage of recruitment process, i.e. Psycho-Aptitude Test, Typing Test, etc. Candidates are required to enter their preferences for posts while filling the application form. Candidates should enter their RRB NTPC post preferences carefully.

Yes, a BTech CSE student can definitely appear for the IAS exam. The eligibility criteria for the IAS exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) only requires a graduation degree from a recognised university.

The Commission released the CDS 1 and 2 exam date at upsc.gov.in. The CDS 1 exam will be conducted on April 12, 2026 and the CDS 2 on September 13. Candidates must be aware that these dates are released by the UPSC.
