RRB NTPC is a highly competitive examination that is conducted to recruit Group B and Group C employees in Indian Railways. The level of the examination is not very tough and the level of the exam is usually easy to moderate. RRB NTPC syllabus for CBT 1 and 2 is more or less same. The CBT 1 and 2 comprises the same subjects. However, there is a difference in the difficulty level of the exam. The subjects included in the CBT 1 and 2 exams are General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The RRB Group D selection process involves:
- Online Computer Based Test (CBT): first stage of the selection process, consists of four sections. The duration of the CBT is 90 minutes.
- The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) consists of four events.
