RRB NTPC is a highly competitive examination that is conducted to recruit Group B and Group C employees in Indian Railways. The level of the examination is not very tough and the level of the exam is usually easy to moderate. Questions in the exam is asked from subjects such as General Knowledge, Mathematics and General Intelligence and Reasoning.

RRB NTPC syllabus for CBT 1 and 2 is more or less same. The CBT 1 and 2 comprises the same subjects. However, there is a difference in the difficulty level of the exam. The subjects included in the CBT 1 and 2 exams are General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning.

The RRB Group D selection process involves:

  1. Online Computer Based Test (CBT): first stage of the selection process, consists of four sections. The duration of the CBT is 90 minutes.
  2. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET)  consists of four events.
  3. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in both the CBT and PET will be required to submit their documents for verification.
  4. Medical Examination.
  5. Final Selection- based on the candidate's performance in the CBT, PET, document verification, and medical examination.
