An IBPS clerk can apply for promotion after minimum two years of his/her service. They get promoted once in two years. Here is the hierarchy of promotion:
• Assistant Manager Scale I
•Manager Scale 2
•Senior Manager Scale 3
•Chief Manager Scale 4
•Assistant General Manager Scale 5
•Deputy General Manager Scale 6
•General Manager Scale 7
Note : No JAIIB and CAIIB diplomas are required for such promotions.

Candidates have 60 minutes (1 hour) to complete the SSC GD examination. They must answer 80 multiple-choice questions about four subjects: general intelligence and reasoning, general knowledge and awareness, elementary mathematics, and English/Hindi language. The maximum amount of marks in the exam is 180.

A SSC CHSL score of 120 or higher is considered an excellent score in Tier 1 examination. Candidates who meet the SSC CHSL cut off marks, on the other hand, are qualified to take the exam. The SSC CHSL cut off changes each year. The competition in the CHSL exam is getting greater year after year, hence the cut off is set higher every year.
