The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission mention the list of post/services in the official notification. The Commission also mentions the pay level against each post. SSC CGL exam has no interview in the exam process. There are two tiers in the SSC CGL exam and the candidates need to appear and clear both tiers. The salary of an Excise Inspector, appointed under SSC CGL, falls within the pay scale of Rs. 44,900 to INR 1,42,400 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600 and a basic pay of INR 44,900.
