The NDA cutoff is the minimum score needed for candidates to pass the written exam and the SSB interview. UPSC sets the cutoff scores for both the written exam and the final selection. Candidates need to score differently on the written test and in the SSB interview to be eligible. The next rounds of the selection procedure are open to those who meet the NDA cutoff points. The NDA exam is used to select eligible candidates for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy courses.
