RBI Assistant result are based on total marks. Marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100. The mains exam carries 200 marks. The selection process comprises prelims and mains exam.

Candidates must not forget to take their admit card with ID proof and 2 recent colored photographs. No use of electronic items, books, watch allowed inside the examination hall. Candidates should reach the examination center 1 hour prior to the commencement of exam. Candidates need to bring a blue ball point pen. Rough sheet will be provided at the examination hall.
